Find a Report on a Specific Person, Organization, Country or Dispute

This article will help you navigate the ISLG Reports to find a specific report.

Finding reports on a specific person, organization, or country

There are three ways that you can find reports about a specific person or organization or country within the application:

    1. Global Search: Through the Global Search at the top of the page, you are able to type in the name of a person or organization or country you would like to see a report about. Clicking “Find” will provide you with a list of research tools where that person or organization or country can be found throughout ISLG. If they appear in any research tool, they will be listed out; however, clicking on the results in the “ISLG Reports” section will lead you to all people or organization or country reports that may be applicable to the person or organization or country you searched for. You will be brought to a listing page specific to the report.
    2. ISLG Reports: By navigating to the “ISLG Reports” section on the left-hand navigation panel, you will be presented with a list of different types of reports. In each different report type section, you will have the option to search for a specific person or organization or country in the search field or browse through all reports of that type by clicking “View All People/Organization/Country”. You also have an option to select “View Comparative Reports” under Dispute Reports to see various issues common in many disputes.
    3. Disputes & Dispute Document Metadata: As you browse through ISLG, you will come across “Dispute” or “Proceeding Details” cards that display the dispute details. You will see people or organizations or countries listed that are relevant to the dispute. Clicking on any value will lead you to “ISLG Reports” page to view all people or organization or country reports specific to that value.

Finding reports on a specific dispute

Finding reports about a specific dispute is slightly different from the other types of reports. The easiest way to find a dispute-specific report is by accessing “All Dispute Details” found under either “Dispute” or “Proceeding Details” of each dispute found in the Disputes & Dispute Documents.

You will see “Expand All Proceeding Details” that will list all pertinent dispute-specific data. Alternatively, you may need to navigate to ISLG Reports > Comparative Dispute Reports. From here, you will see a list of all reports related to disputes by topic.

In order to find data relevant to your specific dispute, you will need to download the report and use the search functions within the tool to filter by the dispute. Alternatively, using “CTRL + F” you can type in the name of your specific dispute to see the related data to the dispute within the report.
